OWAW was about Superman learning how to kill and not holding back and fighting like the ones who were actually destroying/killing probes. That's why mongul told Superman that. Distraction Rob's you of victory. Superman was fighting distracted and was not effective. The other did not have that problem. All of them would kill from the get go. Sun amping is the only way for Superman to increase his strength. That's why brainiac said his famous line.. the Kryptonian does not have that kind of power. He didn't know Superman had sundipped.

I know this seems counter intuitive but if you want jbl to be discouraged from his behavior you have to quit responding to him. Based on the lies he tells and the way he uses logical fallacies to manipulate others i get the feeling he's a narcissist. This type of person acts intentionally absurd and perfidious to get attention, which is called supply in psychology lingo.

Okay, so the dynamic strength debate has been put to rest. It makes perfect sense. The character is powered up by stars to be exponentially greater than a normal man. DC can play as loose and fast with that exponent as they wish. Suffice to say that Superman can be written to lift anything. Doomsday does not share that with Superman, neither does Darkseid.

It doesn't make sense when you see them in a fight, because Doomsday is always pushing Superman around. Plot will do that. On the other hand Superman rarely ever has to allow his fights to last longer than a second.

Without flight, DD could never win.
