Nuova was created when King Piccolo selfishly used the DBs to restore his youth -- that's why he was the only good/honorable Dragon of the lot. All the other Shadow Dragons(barring Oceanus, who was arguably neutral due to the wish that created her) were formed as a result of noble wishes, and as such, were evil.

Oh, right. Knew that but for some reason assumed most wishes were evil to begin with.
But yeah, everyone else alwaye wished for resurrections and good things.

When GT was originally released, the Dragon Balls hadn't been used to grant any evil or selfish wishes, aside from King Piccolo wishing for his youth to be restored. They were almost always used to undo damage that had been caused as a result of battling the villains and whatnot.
The only other possible exception is when Pilaf was about to wish for world dominance, but Oolong swooped in at the last second and wished for a pair of used women's panties instead... But Oolong wasn't really trying to make a good OR evil wish there. He was just countering Pilaf's wish with, literally, the first thing that came to his mind.

DBS is wasted potential in every department and Toriyama only pretends to be involved, pretty sure he does literally nothing and just laughs at Galan's posts online.

But yeah, Tori didn't have a whole lot of direct involvement with the DBS anime. He provided some of the main ideas, and gave a direction he wanted the story to go, but Toei filled in most of the gaps themselves.
The DBS manga is a different story, however. Tori is heavily involved there.

Gohan got stronger like Freeza got stronger, because of ridiculous potential that came out with the least amount of effort.
In theory he can blow past Goku and Vegeta if he trained even a fraction as hard as they do. Which he does not.
