Can you acknowledge a person could be serious about their faith and also be able to set it aside for their job? And that, with someone that has been doing this for as long as she has, we should look to rulings she made to denounce her instead of feelings?
Yes people should do that.
People should also look at politicians voting records when making claims about them.
But they don't.

Being Religious does not mean you can't do your job properly. To say otherwise is discriminatory.
All of our founding fathers would turn over in their graves if they knew that someone who was appointed to the SC was being attacked/discriminated against because of her religious beliefs. The founders were hugely religious people, themselves, and they based our system of government on Judeo-Christian standards of right and wrong.
Also, poll after poll has shown that most Americans want their leaders to have Christian beliefs. If we had a bench full of atheists on the SC that would scare the shit out of me because I wouldn't be nearly as confident that our individual God-given rights would be as strongly protected.
Thank God for Christian fundamentalism regardless of how much heathens in this thread have bashed it. 👆

I despise the catholic church.
Same here, but it's probably mostly for different reasons than you do.
Still, even though I don't like Roman Catholicism and don't consider it to be a part of true biblical Christianity, I for the most part don't really have a problem with individuals within it. It's mostly the leaders of it like the Pope (especially the pope), cardinals, nuns to some extent, and many priests that I don't care for.
I would much rather have a catholic like ACB on the SC than an atheist or agnostic.... or a muslim.
We got to see a yuge light shined on leftist hypocrisy these past 7 days or so.
We were given the ever so magical "it's okay for democrats to say sexual preference but not republicans". Then we were blessed with "it's okay to push unverified Trump stories, but it's not okay to push unverified Biden stories".
Bless their little hearts, you just love 'em so much you could squeeze them until they turn blue and pass out 👆

Believe it or not, most atheist actually believe you have a right to worship the god you want too, they just don’t believe you should shove it down people’s throats.

No kidding... I know that already. I never try to force my beliefs on anyone. Most atheists on this forum don't seem to have a problem with my beliefs, it's mainly just Blake that seems to have a huge chip on his shoulder for believers. As for what I was saying in that post of mine you quoted, I stand by everything I said there.

Yes, while I find worship disturbing, people should be able to worship these things if they want.I am the same way with facial tattoo's. They are awful, but people should be free to get them.
I said a prayer for you.
I kowtowed 3 times to the east after the prayer.
Don't worry, my son, you will be blessed via my vain repetitions and rites.
