I don't know if the entire post office is, but we *have* heard stories of postal workers dumping ballots.

Common workers are just like anyone else. One guy actually defended George W. Bush.
Its the union reps who are insane about it. This one sit-on-his-ass rep just about bit a carriers head off for defending the post 9/11 response. All "HE'S GONNA KEEP US IN IRAQ FOR 1000 YEARS!"
The major issue is unions anyway. Unions think they are better than owners of their companies, who built the companies in the first place. Union workers I've known aren't thankful to have jobs, they are always discontent, and complaining about this and that. I'm always telling them, man, just be thankful someone is willing to pay you. That owner could let you starve, he owes you nothing, strip complaining, you are going to get us all fired. #righttowork #bustthoseunions #thanksboss
Tell me about it. This one guy in the USPS Gary was a vietnam vet, that's like a license to slack off. Every time during the rush the bosses would round up a few of the guys and have us help him out, because he was such a dog. One time he had a fight with management and threatened to leave, and they just about laughed in his face about it.
That all changed though. After I left my temp job there (Non union), they ended up moving him to another position and gave him an ultimatum to do his job, or retire. He chose to retire.
From talking with the guys, a lot changed there. Unions lost a lot of clout, and people had a lot less leeway.
