Why does the intellectual classes complain so much?

On issues like health care, the environment, discrimination, gun control, or whatever, there is always an intellectual pundit. There's no shortage of genius's with high IQ's critiquing the idiots who take public office?

So why don't like minded genius's simply hatch a plan to take over? Surely, a dozen or ten of 120-144 eggheads can use their superior knowledge and intelligence towards making the country into where they want it to be. If you can put a man on the moon or crack the atom, how hard can world conquest be?

Or simply run for office themselves, at least. The Left loves to say how "science" solves everything, so I bet Albert Einstein can run a country better then Joe Biden..
