I think a funny joke is a funny joke, regardless of topic.
Same applies for trolling, but the medium of chatting digitally obscures intent, but who knows.
Better to give the benefit of the doubt me thinks.

IMO, Blake's intent was to make a joke about his sincerely held beliefs.

Gonna see if I can break up all the hypocrisy and ask a serious question:If, by some small chance, Covid made Trump unable to continue as president and Pence took over, how would that make the election look in November? Does Pence have a strong following, or will the people voting for him likely just be doing so because they hate Democrats?
It's hard to know of course, but I think he would lose pretty badly. People are passionate about Trump, but Pence doesn't have that same appeal. He might be able to draw in never-Trump Republicans, but that is a tiny, tiny number, and he will be very popular with evangelicals, but at the same time this evangelical fervor might be very off-putting to solely economic conservatives. Of course the Democrats main argument "look how unpleasant Trump is and how civil Biden is" won't work anymore, cause Pence is nothing if not civil. Perhaps the most important argument is that he just won't have time to develop and execute a profile-raising PR strategy in the months remaining. So I think things like that are hard to predict, and the electoral college vastly favors Republicans at the moment, and the supreme court leans conservative, there's a lot of things in favor of any Republican at the moment, but my money would still be on him losing.

Thought that. Thanks.
