No, I would never say that he said to do that, although it was odd that he was spitballing odd or questionable approaches to take in treating a disease when he was surrounded by people who could have offered more rational ideas.
I think that’s his boardroom mentality of throwing crap at the wall and seeing what sticks, which is not an approach that is transferable to all professions, and something that you should never do in front of the press.

Least you can't accuse him of being an evil schemer. That requires actually having a coherent strategy.
Couple of things:
1. Imagine being stupid enough, in the face of a massive amount of high quality research, to think wearing a mask actually worked to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Every single country going through the second wave, who have mask mandates and lockdowns, are scratching their heads. When I get time, later, I'll post more on this and the junk science of mask wearing.
2. Trump tested negative for the Coronavirus prior to the debates. But 11 cases of Coronavirus were traced to the setup crew:
“The City of Cleveland is aware of positive cases of COVID-19 following the Sept. 29 presidential debate. In total, at this time, we are aware of 11 cases stemming from pre-debate planning and set-up, with the majority of cases occurring among out of state residents. At this time, though that could change, no City residents appear to have contracted the virus as a result of this event.”
How very interesting. Did we just see someone infect themselves, on purpose, to harm either Biden, Trump, or both?
It wouldn't surprise me. Nothing the TDS crowd does surprises me anymore. I wouldn't put it past one of them to purposefully infect themselves just so Trump would get it too.
And yeah, I can't believe many people still think masks are actually effective. No matter how many times you try explaining it to them they just call you a "science denier" or something similar.
I was talking to a close relative on the phone a couple of days ago about Trump getting the virus. She said, "yes, because he refused to wear a mask" lol.
I knew it was pointless trying to tell her that masks don't work because I had already told her that before in the past several times. I even texted her some articles and videos demonstrating how ineffective they are. She just kept repeating that "Fauci said so" in regards to wearing a mask.
I then told her that he at first said they didn't work and she never replied back.
*sigh*
Don't even know why I bother sometimes.. smh.
Opinions on masks and studies vary. The majority consensus among health care professionals is droplets are stopped by most kinds of mask as it is the droplets that carry the viral load. Do most masks have pores sufficiently small to catch an individual virus... No? But some do. Do most masks stop a wad of mucus containing viruses? Sure, does this work in both directions, sure both the projector and potential receiver can stop the momentum of a mucal bullet and if either is wearing N or KN 95 without valves and a spit shield or glasses protection is further increased. This is the Science and the common sense, the problem is no one enjoys putting a mask on and leaving it on. Washing hands is probably more important.
Imagine being this deranged and butthurt that your fantasy scenario of Trump dying didn't happen:
