Nice, as much as I think they should have just done another Mad Max film with Hardy, I am looking forward to this.

First images... let the hype begin...

Looks like a ratrod version of the Sovereign queen from GotG2 &3.

Oh, my god... I wasn't expecting this until the weekend...

YouTube video

Chris Hemsworth may take some getting used to in the role, but this looks at least as trippy and epic as Fury Road. droolio

WTF? The visuals are awful.

One of the best things about Fury Road was the amazing visuals and that's largely because they used practical effects. By contrast, this trailer is packed with shoddy CGI. Just baffling that this film looks so much worse despite the fact that it's coming out nearly a decade after FR.

Yeah, I mean, FR used green screen for sure, but it definitely was better integrated.

This looks more like a marvel movie, it's true.

Nothing in the trailer excited me.
But maybe that means I’ll think the movie is really good? Because usually it’s the other way around.

The vehicles excite me, Anne Taylor-Joy definitely excites me. It's guzzoline time!

Yeah, what is there to NOT be excited about??

We get more rad car chases and apparently more immortan Joe? I'm fucking stoked.

Also, the Twitter debate rages about the VFX, lol...

Here’s hoping the amputation scene kicks ass. 👆

Wouldn't be the first time the SFX looked meh in a trailer, but was cleaned up by the release date.

Pretty much, But you still get people bitching about it regardless.

Miller is probably trying for different visuals in this. Which could explain things

The visuals aren’t an issue, for me at least.
Hell I still enjoy Godzilla in a rubber suit so I’m not one to judge.

Because most of the time they don't. Anyway, this is what is supposed to get us to see their movie and so I will of course judge it based on what they release.

IMO, it's all how it's handled. Effects can look good even if they aren't realistic. These just look bad.

^^^You're right, that’s a good point. 👆

I'm still not sure how I feel about a Mad Max movie, without Mad Max.
