Trump's a one term loser. He was able to used car salesman his way into 2016, but after four years America said "no thanks, we're going to another lot". Just going to have to accept that.

He won't concede until he knows he can profit on this loss. That's the delay.

I think he probably thinks that not conceding is good for his brand. Which it might be, not sure. Probably has to find the right way to exit.

I expect Trump to eventually concede, but not in a traditional or humble or unifying way, but in a way that blames everyone else for his failure while making himself the victim.

If Trump actually concedes now, he'll be admitting that all his claims of being cheated and voter fraud were false and that he was just a big orange maninfant.

IMO, he'll certainty leave the WH come Jan 20th, but he'll maintain that he actually won but is leaving for the greater good of America, but he will continue to fight his loss in the courts (he won't) and that he will win.
