Okay, I know what you mean, and the thing is, the girl who I have a crush on I met at Burning Man. She went there with her boyfriend who basically thinks of her as a trophy. He even said to a mutual friend of ours, "After Burning Man is over, I'm going to dump her." I thought he was crazy. She's smart, fun, beautiful, and she thought I was highly entertaining. She told me when I moved back home we should hang out once I get settled since we don't live very far from each other. I haven't called her since I moved back home and she might still be with that guy, I don't know. The girl I'm seeing now is more of a physical relationship. She has a kid, she's always busy, she's working on her Masters in Chemistry, we hang out maybe once a week or so, we both keep the relationship light, no expectations, that sort of thing. Truth is, I don't think I'm ready for a deep meaningful relationship with anyone right now. I'm working on a project that is consuming a lot of my time, so I wouldn't be able to devote the energy I would want to with the girl I have a crush on. We'll see. I'm sure I'll call her sooner or later, if I don't, I'll never know and that will drive me nuts for the rest of my life, or until I find someone else as awesome as she is.
