Joe Biden, the 46th president of USA

I never brought up about anything being peaceful or not peaceful, you did, in responding to me, with something I never brought up.

But since you think you need to make what I said about peaceful protests, when in reality, I said "how are they following cdc guidelines."

Are you speaking of these peaceful protests?

Once again I was originally replying to Surtur. So if anyone is technically Strawmaning here it would be you since you're the one apparently changing the topic of discussion.

Also I pointed out the protests were mostly peaceful.

Also did you decide to not clarify what claim you want me to verify?

Did you get that line from CNN?

The 1994 crime bill played a key role in the mass incarcerations we saw, a large chunk of which was minorities.
Wasn't this after the LA riots and hydroponic (hyper chronic) weed grows? Inb4 that shit is still going on, yeah, but who knows what would have happened had the bill not been passed? Senators don't wanna look weak.

Well besides the logical inconsistency you just used.

The fact remains the modern Democratic Crime Reform policy is very different then what they 1994 crime reform bill was. You can argue it makes Joe hypocritical to change his stance but considering we and he has had 26 ears since then to grow and evolve I'm not going to stop him from implementing the modern crime reform bill which is much better.

Now to the logical issue with your statement. You feel the 1994 crime bill makes Joe racist and you could probably argue that. The problem is if you feel support of that bill makes one racists then you would have to acknowledge that the GOP party was also racists.

In fact logically you would have to confirm the modern day conservative movement is still racist considering they are still basically for the same policies as the 1994 crime bill.

Speaking of inconsistency, Sanders voted for it too. 😂

Not surprised. A lot of people did after all.

Probably less minorities in prison is a thing that would have happened.

But meh *shrugs*. I just think given Biden's past and what Harris did in the past too is going to give some people pause if they start talking about new crime bills.

Well Blacks and Other Minorities isn't an issue for Democrats. They are currently working to make it Legal for Felons still in Prison to Vote in Elections.

Because Democrats have NO Issues with Illegal and or Criminal Voting Practives.

It does work ...for them.

I hope they both wind up in Prison. With Clinton.

They They Get Raped in the Showers Kind of Prison.

I do think everyone should be able to vote, including felons. And legal immigrants.

When the felons get out of jail I think they should have the right to vote, I also think if you are an immigrant here legally as a citizen I think they should be able to vote in federal elections. In state elections they might not require citizenship to vote for state positions.

Yeah, I mean that's a fair compromise. At least when they are out of prison they should be allowed to. I'm a bit of a democracy radical, so I'd have polling stations in penitentiaries, but that's a bit of a fringe opinion, I know.

I am very similar to you.

I have a "pay income taxes" rule.

You pay taxes? You vote.

But if we implemented the Fair Tax Plan, I'm not sure how that would change. I'd have to update my position.

Agreed about the prison thing.

Another sock.

Another Whirly sock?

Who knows? I doubt it's Whirly, though.

So I watched a CNN clip of Biden and Harris and I just can't take Harris seriously.

After all the shit she's said about Biden, and now she's his VP is laughable.

Harris isn't the best choice, imo.

Harris will probably be a worse VP than Biden was.
