Pre-Covid my primary work was logistics coordinator for an events company (fancy job title, just means I set up beer festivals, music festivals, etc.) which I supplement by picking up freelance chef work between events as they're sometimes 5-6 weeks apart. (I'm good and reputable enough that it's actually quite dependable) This week I picked up my first pay slip since March, helping a friend get his gastropub in order, bought a bottle of rum and I've drank about half of it already to celebrate.
I also do roadie work for a few venues in my city. I'm a busy boy at times, the GF is a lawyer and makes really good money TBH, but I can still try to tease her by telling her that I actually make more per hour than her.

That sounds like a cool job.Oh and if your gf is a lawyer be wary if you guys get married and you try to divorce her. 😄
LoooooooooooooL. She's actually dropped a couple of hints in the last couple of years that are connected to my work, 'cos I get free entry to events I set up she's been to a quite a few and once or twice she's 'joked' that I should be a wedding planner. I have actually been considering over the last week or two whether I should pop the question or not. I mean, we've been stuck in the same house since March and we can still stand each other.
