animal man seems difficult to use in tourney, he's either too powerful or too useless depends on the stipulation

I'll say this before we get there: if anybody has questions/clarifications, they should be asked before we start the matches.

For example: classic Quicksilver doesn't refer solely to the one from the 60s/70s that was having good races with Hawkeye's arrows/was limited to around mach 1. It's essentially the pre-HoM version. And if anybody has certain objections about some characters [i.e. Sun-Eater Animal Man], they should say so, too. If not, it's valid. Same goes for any other character.

As for prep:

Prep time -- each contestant should have an opinion. Majority decides. With. Without. How much. And also very important -- where?

Battlefield will be a merger of non-populated DC/Marvel Earth but with no tech other than what you have on you/what you can create [so there's no Baxter Building, no Batcave, no Watchtower etc.]

I'd say starting in a bubble with a 5 second countdown is fair. The ending bell signals the start of the match and you can prep in the meantime.

i assume dc characters are composite canon? because of what happened in the latest death metal issue? but maybe no pre-crisis for the sake of the tourney?

Hmmm...I'm horribly bad when it comes to tourneys. But I am bored. I seem to be in a conundrum. I'd probably be better as a judge but am curious who is get if I played. Decisions decisions.

I'll PM you who the characters would have been, just in case somebody else wants to pick those numbers.

it would be crazy to seperate dc characters from p52/n52/rebirth after death metal

but yeah ill always go with the majority consensus
