106 House Republicans Support Trump-Backed Lawsuit To Overturn Election

A group of 106 Republican House members, more than half of the GOP caucus in the chamber, signed an amicus brief filed Thursday in support of a lawsuit backed by President Trump that seeks to overturn the election.

The brief is led by Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.), who, in an email obtained by Forbes, told his colleagues Trump personally asked him to recruit supporters for the lawsuit, which aims to invalidate electors in four states Joe Biden won: Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia. -snip

They've become the party/people who can't accept the results of an election unless it goes their way.

I think they set the precedent 4 years ago

Why did you edit out the insult, BB? That post was also already dissected and didn't pass the test.

And your "Im not devisive" rhetoric doesn't past the test with these stupid threads

You might call this "stupid", but this is happening, a large amount of Republicans are trying to get the Supreme Court to overturn the results of a legal presidential election because they didn't like the results.

Granted it likely won't go anywhere, but it is being attempted.

Read the story.

This sounds oddly familiar, maybe you are reaping what you sowed?

So more deflection games. Okay.

That certainly breaks the spirit of the election.

This would have gone alot better if the discrepencies that were blatant were acknowledgedand addressed instead of this big cow pie

That's a nice way to put what they're attempting.

You're confused if you think Trump would have accepted anything other than him winning.

Odd, sounds awfully familiar to what the democrats did the past 4 years. Karma maybe?

Nope I knew things like this would happen, I said it months back.

You must really be confused with your own behavior over the past 4 years, you never accepted Trump won and insisted without evidence that he cheated to win.

Now you are mad the other side doing it?

How convenient

Bingo.

I'm sorry, but after all of the massive amount of cheating that went on in this BS election I'm having a hard time feeling bad about this. In fact, I feel quite good about it.

And don't b*tch to me about "precedent set", Robbie, considering all the BS precedents democrats have set over the years and the ones that they planned on setting when Biden/Harris got in (doing away with electoral college, packing the SC, making DC a state, etc...).

You know what else breaks the spirit of the election? Widespread cheating. 😉

And also corrupt judges throwing out cases of voter fraud without even bothering to consider the evidence.

What is the point of rules and laws if no one follows them or if no one ever suffers any consequences for breaking them?
