Tucker Carlson calls CNN's Amanpour a 'half-wit'

" 'As you know perfectly well, I am a journalist and a reporter,' says Christiane Amanpour who is neither of those things and never has been," Carlson said. "Christiane Amanpour is a celebrity script reader, a half-wit whose self-esteem far outpaces her accomplishments."

Is that your takeaway from that list?

Anyone who takes Carlson seriously is a half-wit themselves. He's been a fool for years.

My takeaway is you felt her so accomplished u needed to list several honorary awards.

Best part: that isn't even my opinion it is fact

I can’t believe that you are so obtuse that you would choose that point to focus on.

If shes considered a journalist, then what is an opinion host now, because that's what she is.

I think graduating from the university of Rhode Island summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. degree in journalism and spending over 20 years in journalism would probably support her credentials.

Pretty solid argument.

He probably should have used a better insult like "blinded by partisanship" or "Amanpour is enamored with tribal politics."

But nuance is hard. Simple insults are easy. And it appeals to his viewer base.

Oh this is in response to something Tucker said that triggered you and you made a butthurt thread about it.

Sounds delicious.

Looks like mostly worthless awards.

Like an Emmy, Grammy, or Golden Globe.

Journalism awards are just circle jerking.
