Actually I believe he did something similar in your super heat of a few suns scan, Phil. That he crashed into that force field at lightspeed, but I could be assuming on speed.
Knull just ripped Sentry in half casually, light-rays bigger, more powerful and much scarier brother. Knull’s power seems to have grown back to his necro-sword days.
Light-ray also has a bit of an inconsistent history, sometimes coming off as a non-warrior (Much easier to take out relative to more powerful heroes).
