Prime was affecting the multiple earths by beating up the fake supermen. That what an unleashed Superman can do. When SB punches, worlds get destroyed, realities get retconned. It wasn’t because the fake supermen were connected to their worlds. It was only happening when SB was hurting them and by no one else. That’s how the impact of prime’s punches.
Then he goes and beats up TBWLs and retcons himself back to his earth as a redeemed hero.
