LMAO, Gladiator, Hulk and Sentry are all stronger than Superman. They do this feat with ease. Carver is right. Hurts don't it.👍
What feat does Sentry and Gladiator have that's superior to the Earth weight benching fast?

Was the force superman overcame greater than the force Gladiator overcame? NO. Not even close.

I won’t argue given I don’t get the science behind a lot of this stuff. But I definitely think countering the Earth’s rotation would be a harder feat than lifting the weight of the planet.Regardless I agree it is a good feat for the two of them.
It depends on
1. how long it took
and
2. the length of the lever arm.
In 1.
Remember Force = mass x acceleration.
With a small force (i.e. small acceleration) one can still move massive things but it would take longer.
In 2.
Doubling the length of the lever arm will halfen the force needed to keep the same torque. This is low levers work. They add more distance while reducing the force needed.
And time it took to reduce speed plays a significant role too.

The comic never stated that.

Thats like watching me pick up a motorcycle by its front tire and lift it above my head, and then saying that I only lifted a tire. The bio you posted says that Atlas bore “heaven’s weight upon his shoulders” and that Hercules briefly took on Atlas’ “celestial burden.” So, Hercules bore the heavens. You have to be ignoring those words to read it any other way.

What's his best strength feat if not the benching feat?
Sentry contained an explosion from a cosmic cube. Ripped a whole in reality. Casually flew off with a small star.

Breaking chains that are used to haul stars between galaxies. We are looking at millions (possibly billions) of solar weights to break those chains.
Post Sentry feat (or give issues). Sounds unquantifiable from your statements (except for flying off with a small star. Wait what? So he grabbed a star with his hand and dragged it through space? Sounds stupid).
Originally posted by Booya_69I don't see a strength feat there. Striking a ship and causing an explosion?

The Heavens and Earth existed long before Atlas was placed there [obviously, as space doesn't fall into Earth 😂] -- he was used as an anchor placed at the center of the powerful energy to show the common point of the divided territories between Zeus, Pluto and Poseidon:
Whether you agree Hercules lifts actual heavens or not, that doesnt change anything IMHOMytho-based stories tend to be metaphors. It is good feat, but how does it transfer to physical strength we have no idea
I mean what difference is lifting heavens and lifting an energy field? both sound flowery to me.....
The power lies in the border itself, which can be drained as to warp reality and stuff:

Out of Hercules' actual feats, his best I'd say is stopping the Earth's rotation [with help]. That is very impressive, though it took a lot of effort. Nothing to make him compete here, but still one of the best around for non-Superman heroes.

Ah. I tend to forget about that one. 👍 my only question regarding that feat --is it canon? Semi-canon, or non canon?
If it is, then it's definitely up there.
The cc feat happened in "age of sentry" storyline (book 3 or 4?)
Ripping reality happened in "annihilation😖courge"
And yes thats exactly what happened, he just flies off with it lol. I can't remember when it happened. The artwork looks like it's from dark avengers arc.

My apologies, the following page is the fantastic four having a discussion in the Baxter building on how that explosion should have destroyed half the solar system. It's implied gladiator contained the explosion. It's controversial because we don't get to witness the actual feat. 🤷‍♂️
