Haven't read the manga, but it looks like it's going to be about mankind's best—mythological heroes?—fighting polytheistic gods in a tournament.

What's surprising is that it's released by Warner Brothers.

Looks pretty promising.

I read some of the manga a few months back. A cool concept but not for me. The fights were ridiculously over the top which was cool but that's all there really is to it. Personally, I like a bit more plot. I'll still give the anime a try. It probably will be more fun animated.

Dropped half-way through the second episode. I've seen Power Point presentations more fluid animation than this.

Well shoot. I was actually looking forward to "wacky battle" anime. Hearing that its a slideshow is pretty bad.
