The Sorcerer's Apprentice vs Reign of Fire

Dave Stutler & Balthazar Blake are about to get attacked by any of the dragons (wyverns) before the bigger male one shows up (esp. in England) so can they do something against this?

This begins with a few female dragons.

This isn't Harry Potter universe right? So no dragons are immune to magic nonsense. Gonna have to YouTube some feats but gonna take a shot in the dark and agree with Riv.

So how much damage could the magical plasma bolts do to any of the dragons?

What were they shown to do?

Then besides this, there's the vacuum sphere and/or fire shield to defend against the fire breaths.
