That's arguable. Johnny beat kreese twice and absolutely stomped robbie. Granted kreese is an old man now, but robbie was a finalist at the all valley and had both miyagi do and and Cobra kai training. This is the strongest we've seen johnny
Regardless, Rocky pushed the CURRENT champion of that time to his absolute limits, a dude who was knocking out contenders in one round.
Johnny loses.

You think rocky can do as well in a real fight ss he can in a boxing match?

Cobra Kai is more fantasy though. I mean how many goons with weapons can old man Rocky take on?
Also, if you watch the fight? He got robbed pretty hard, if that was a real match people would've gone apeshit and rioted.
The real ending should've been the alternate ending combined with the real ending, with Rocky winning then going to Adrian's grave.

It can be. Hell, I’m stronger in all my lifts now than I was in HS. The rest of your post is a good point, though, about Rocky taking it the then current world champ.I’d think so, going by his fight w. Tommy Gunn.
Riv, all due respect, but you train a lot right? If you have a lot of training now-a-days, then yeah, you should be able to beat your 25 to 30-year-old self.
But if all you had done was lift within those years? Yeah no, I'll give it to your 30-year-old self every single time.

I get that. And yes realistically Rocky would stomp.
All Im saying is Rocky tries to be more realistic whereas Cobra Kai is slightly more fantasy.
If Miguel was trained in boxing by Rocky instead, then no way would he go from skinny nerd getting bullied, to beating up his much bigger and more athletic bully, and 2 of his buddies at the same within a few weeks (or even months) of training. Especially without any major physical transformation.

No hes right you are at a major disadvantage to a guy in his 20s. Due to changes in hormones, bones stiffening e.t.c
Assuming 100% natural of course.
Doesnt mean youre not physically the strongest youve ever been. Just means youd have been that much more jacked training the same in your 20s.

I was about to reply to/ask Jmanghan what he’d meant, as the wording confused me, but you cleared it up, ty. Yeah, in my 20s 30s and into my 40s I couldn’t lift like I do now/did in HS because I had to maintain a certain weight/body fat percentage to meet Army standards, plus I ran about 10 miles a day 6 days a week. I mean, it wouldn’t have been impossible to do, but it would have meant watching my diet/caloric intake like crazy and I didn’t need the hassle.
Since retiring I’ve cut my running in half etc. and that’s let me take my bench from about 250 to currently 385, for example.
