Hey Eth how was your weekend?

Ok.... bout the same as any other I guess except for the fact that I had to take my calico cat to the vet. She had the "third eyelid" again and it had me scared to death. Turns out that wasn't the biggest problem she had.

The vet discovered some large lumps on her stomach area and he was worried that they might be cancerous. So he did some blood work on her (that wasn't cheap) and sent results off to the lab; the results are supposed to come back sometime today.

I'm so worried about the results. Have to stay close to phone all day so I won't miss the call.

Good news is that he gave me some antibiotic medicine to give her twice a day which has already cleared up her "third eyelid" and hopefully her fever she had as well.

Best of luck with your cat, hope those lumps are just just lumps. Having sick pets are shit to go through.

I had a cancer scare with my dog a few months back, really sucked, was stressful.

Ah I'm sorry Eth, I hope everything checks out okay. Having to take a pet to the vet is the most stressful thing. Keep us posted!

That sucks about your cat man. I honestly and truly hope your cat is ok. Politics aside, pets can be like family memebers and I honestly hope everything works out alright.

Being a pet owner myself, I hope your cat will be okay.

Hope she's OK man. I had to get mine put to sleep on January 2nd. She started having seizures and ended up brain damaged 😕.

You sound like you are either crazy, or like you have accidentally taken the wrong medicine.

Just got some sad news earlier. Turns out my calico is a diabetic... not good at all. Have to start giving her insulin twice a day. That's going to be a real headache.

I'm sorry, mate. That's really tough. It's a sad time for pets everywhere apparently, I actually had to put my cat down two weeks ago. Didn't seem right to bring it up when you're cat's health was still up in the air.

I'm sorry her quality of life isn't going to be as great. I'm sure she's been lucky to have you as long as she has.

Thanks, bud. Sorry about your cat. I also know the pain of having to put a pet to sleep.

Back in around 2008ish I had to put my first female cat I ever had down. It took me several years to finally get over it fully.

Agreed 100 percent. We had to put my cat down six years ago. He was 15 and he was having issues with his stomach. I still haven't truly gotten over it, and it's still making me hesitant about getting another cat.

Biden stole the election?

Unfortunately, I had to put my calico kitty to sleep over the weekend. She was in terrible pain from a mammory tumor weighing down on her lungs and making it very difficult for her to breathe.

Last couple of days have been hard on me but at least I know she is no longer suffering and is at eternal peace.

See, at least you still have your 🐱

His cat passed away, dude

Aww 🙁

Pet death sucks, dude. Been there too many times myself.

You've died?

:/
