Honestly, I didn't think of X-Rays and I don't have a totally satisfying answer for this. She's shown the ability to alter the wavelength of her light, so it feels logical she could change her clones too; however, I don't actually have an example of her making X-Ray clones. The closest was against Reaver possessed Sentinels, but Beast points out the Reavers weren't using all the Sentinel sensory equipment.

Granted, here, she would only need to make her and her clones reflect X-rays. That alone would alert the Sentinels to the ruse, whereas Batman would still have to locate her specifically. Assuming she can do it anyway.

The chaff grenades are definitely interesting too. She did encounter a prepped opponent who used a reflective coating for the same effect, although her lasers were stated to be able to break through if given enough time. I think some big questions here are: Could she melt them? Could she stand on a light pillar until the chaff falls to the ground? Would AOE attacks be enough to go through the openings and hit Batman?

I'm totally unsure how the solid constructs would actually interact with the chaff. In real life, yeah, light is light. But, there is no solid light in real life either(it's hypothetically possible from my understanding). I wonder if her just ramming that light-brick wall through it would work, or if the dragon could just stomp around like normal?

And that's the problem with Batman- he has so many appearances, and interacts with so many characters whilst writers try to keep him relevant, that he pretty much has an answer to anything.

And I haven't even used his blatantly PIS showings lol like outrunning HV after it was fired...

He probably relies on sound, to some degree, to fight blind. He would be both blind and deaf in this case.

I agree. He's displayed tools for tons of situations, and any formal argument against Bruce(and others like him) would involve the standard equipment clause. I'm speaking in general btw, as I have no problem with the cowl specifically. Our discussion is mostly for fun though, so I'm stretching Dazzler's hologram manipulation a bit too. Bruce might actually not have much of a problem with them.

Which does bring me back to my earlier idea about her light hypnosis. Even with his cowl, I wonder how vulnerable he'd be to it? Shutting out all light should do the trick, but it would be dead silent too. Sonar would just amp her.

I think he was talking about Dazzler's impact on the environment. She creates a deadzone if she's absorbing all the sound in the vicinity, so Bruce wouldn't hear her either.

He also used fake, wax lips against Ivy to avoid her mind control kiss. It just seems like a prep thing to me, or at least him using his cowl. I don't think it was just normal vision, although you may not have been saying that. The same tech worked fine against him in that arc, granted it was illusions and not invisibility.

He used a different prep suit in the previous issue too.

The smell thing is pretty impressive though. I don't know how much it'd help here, since it really only tells him she's in the area. Scarecrow did still get the jump on him. I feel like things would be pretty rough if he was forced to go full blind while she's killing the sound too.

I think the sound dampening thing only applied for protecting Batman's ears too, not the field.

The anti-hypnosis thing is solid though. And also wtf. 😂

Looking at these new scans makes me hate Batman even more. Such a bullsh|t character. They should just come out and make him a high tier metahuman and be done with it because no one believes he's 'only' an Olympic level+ athlete with genius IQ.

At least Dazzler is far more interesting and I'd rather have her abilities than his.

You can't hate Batman even more if you already hate him at the highest level
