they have the resources they got in comics, the prep is 3 months, who comes up on top, they have as much information as we comic readers do regarding their opponents

I'd put my money on Braniac. Starts out with superior tech. Bottling cities entire timelines, upgrading himself to resist the friggen Warlogog, universal plus telepathy, etc... Braniac is in a league all his own.
