In comics he was able to pick up a train car, hold up the weight of a building, and many other feats that laugh at the idea of him being a Class 10 ton character. When serious he exceeds that classification by leaps and bounds.
Even an outdated Death Battle (I know, it's not that reliable, but still) episode "Batman vs Spider-Man" shows that Bats in a random encounter without prep, extra gear and prior knowledge loses to Spidey.
And before Spidey gets serious, Batman can hit him and even keep him at bay. But not unless Spidey snaps.

Not a standard gear, sorry. And Spidey has a gas filters in his mask. White Dragon (a master martial artist, who fought Shang Chi) once tried to KO Spidey with his mask, where knockout gas was. It didn't worked, because Spidey's mask has filters.
