This thread is a little pre-emptive. Yes, all signs point to Ghidorah stomping his ass. Yes, the very concept of Kong, whose species were wiped out by Skullcrawlers, being a threat to Goji or Ghidorah is silly, but also yes that is the concept of the next movie.
I expect Godzilla will be comparatively weak in GvK and after it comes out to Ghidorah should still win. But, the movie hasn't come out, yet, and Kong could very well get some dumbass feats putting him above Godzilla and Ghidorah.

Gidorah, most likely. Unless Kong manages to perform an atomic blazing feat, there's no way to kill the Three-Headed King.Even Godzilla wasn't able too kill him without massive intake of energy.

Defeat and killing isn't the same. Ghidorah's regeneration capabilities are OP.
There's a reason he had to be frozen in order to be defeated originally; I doubt regular Godzilla could deliver death, else he would've once Ghidorah was inmobilized.

We saw Godzilla incinerate one of Ghidorah's heads with his breath, tear off another, etc. Ghidorah's regen isn't limitless, and it takes time. Everytime he loses a limb his ability to defend himself is decreased and he's more likely to lose more. Without his heads he cannot absorb energy, his regen will peter out, and he will die.
There is no doubt that Godzilla is capable of killing Ghidorah during the entire movie, the question put to the audience is whether Godzilla will.

Took him all of 15 seconds to regrow 20k ton head and neck. He could regenerate thousands of deadpools and wolverines in seconds

The plot of the movie assumes inherently that Godzilla can kill Ghidorah. The question is not of whether he has that ability, it's whether he will succeed in the end.

Godzilla only did well there because Ghidorah fell into the water. Of course he'd do better in his own turf. Are you forgetting the final fight? Ghidorah had Godzilla dead to rights. He dropped his ass from the atmosphere for an easy KO (which he should have done from the beginning). Then he wrapped Godzilla up and started eating it alive before getting diverted by the humans. You don't get a cleaner win than that. Ghidorah was on another level, healing factor or not.
Ghidorah also floored the living hell out of Zilla their first fight with one energy blast. He probably would have ended him there if not for the humans interfering. There is no way in hell Godzilla would beat Ghidorah outside of the water without that nuclear amp.
Also, Ghidorah stomps in this thread. He wouldn't struggle as hard with Kong as Godzilla likely will this next movie. Zilla is going to have to be nerfed hard for this to work.

1) Godzilla already defeated Ghidorah in the past. That’s the reason why Ghidorah’s frozen in ice and Godzilla is walking around like a boss at the beginning of KotM.
2) Godzilla was wrecking Ghidorah’s shit until he absorbed the electricity of the city. The only reason Ghidorah was able to pick Godzilla up and fly him into the sky is because Godzilla was weakened from the energy emitted during Ghidorah’s power up. Godzilla had him beaten on the ground until Ghidorah bit into the power plant in an act of desperation.
Point is, Ghidorah and Godzilla are basically equals and their fights could go either way based on the circumstances.

Originally posted by Arachnid1You don't have to be able to beat someone 10/10 times to be capable of killing them. Ghidorah needs to take in energy for his regen. If Godzilla just starts ripping him apart, as we saw he was capable of doing in multiple instances, Ghidorah will die.

By all logic and sense yeah, Ghidorah would stomp Kong and Godzilla needs to be heavily nerfed for the next movie for this to even make sense, but it's also possible that the next movie actually has retardo monke-feats that will make him top dog in the monsterverse. This thread needs to be saved for after the movie's release.
