TASM Spiderman and Lizard vs Grid (the Xenomorph from AvP) and the Protomorph

Spiderman and the Lizard (movie version) may be able to easily defeat or kill any Xenomorph including even the Queen but it seems that the Protomorph has been officially stated to be capable of regenerating from getting crushed and dismembered.

But didn't you read that Ridley Scott have said about the Protomorph being capable of higher regeneration?
