A lot of those people (same with Biden's voters) are people who vote party no matter what and while I'm sure Trump lost support after his coup failed, I do think you're underestimating the size of his cult, the "I would die for that man!" Trumpers.
Even if we say Trump's cult only consists of a 3rd of his 2020 voters, that's still 24-25million** frothing cultist.
**Which is well more than enough to swing an election in a three candidate race 🙂

Highest voter % turnout since 1900 and an ever increasing population. You should expect every election to have an increasing number of votes than the previous one. I'd put a bet on that the loser in 2024 gets more votes than the winner in 2020.
