Dr. Manhattan vs Perpetua's children

Doc Manhattan fights all of Perpetua's children (Monitor, Anti-Monitor and World Forger).

Dr.Manhattan wins

Batman who laughs with Dr Manhattans power defeated her.
Perpetua defeated them

This was all under one writer

Do you see it as any kind of fight at all?

Now, DrM did defeat Perpetua who was weakened but that still better results than her children had against her

DK needed the crises energy to defeat Perpetua.

darkest knight > full power perpetua > weakened perpetua ~ doctor manhattan >> the brothers.

Perpetua already was full power when she battled Wonder Woman w Manhattan's powers IIRC.

I’m going with the three brothers. They can power themselves up. WF creates universes to amp AM to his coie levels snd then they merge.

Manhattan. Even a fusion of the three brothers amped by the Totality was only on par with a heavily weakened Perpetua, and once she regained her full power she easily dominated Ultra-Monitor. A more powerful Perpetua was given a much closer fight by Manhattan-level power.

A fraction of a fraction of Dr.M’s power was given to Diana, who stalemated Perpetua and almost beat her. TDK with Batmanhattan powers beat up perpetua and took her powers. Diana beat up TDK. Perpetua is tasked by the source to create multiverse and then die. The source, the presence, and Dr.M have connective energy, which is a power above perpetua. Dr.M>perpetua>coie monitors, mismatch.

The comic Deathmetal came out decades after the original watchmen comic. So no, it didn’t ruin the original intent story of Alan Moore. Death metal happens in DC universe, watchmen is an abstract reality to that and exist far away from DC.

Also, Dr.M powers were never fully explained or what his limitations are in the original comic. Nobody knew how strong he was because Dr.M wasn’t a main character and the plot of the story revolves around something else, not the limitations of Dr.M and we still have yet to see that actually.

Essentially, Manhattan really never had a need to explore to depths of his power within the Watchmen-verse, as he was surrounded by peak humans.

...But when he began flexing his power a bit, Jon realized that there was really no limit to what he could do.

Manhattan's power was confirmed to be superior to Perpetua at the height of her power, but Diana held back out of fear and didn't manage to win.
