The special effects weren’t groundbreaking but they didn’t have to be, to set the eerie mood.

^^^I'm sure they’ll milk the backstory/details, but yeah just straight up getting the premise out in the open? Totally appreciated that.

Hopefully they get to it this season; this looks like one of those shows that disappears after a season and no one ever remembers.
