I dont know man. There's a reason the Flash is the biggest superhero movie flop of all time and it wasnt because it was better than a lot of other movies. It was a pile of dog crap. GotG 3 was average and it was a million times better than Flash, but to each their own.

I think its because they are now making movies about characters that not many people care about. You can only rehash the same old characters so many times, but a lot of the newer stuff have characters that are irrelevant to most people and that makes it hard.

Not arguing about the poorly written part, but honestly, the part about the characters only resonates with die hard comic fans and i'm not sure thats the intended audience anymore. I think teenagers and kids are the primary audience and thats why the majority of the films rely on goofiness and large acts of CGI.
