Pretty sure Emperor Joker was able to mindrape the Quintessence from across the universe with Mxy”s power.
yup Darkseid did too.

I don’t think that the quintessence was > than perpetua but then again Darkseid just killed them off too. I think Darkseid may get there but will need to do more.

Assuming this is meant to be literally every aspect of Darkseid we”ve ever seen combined into one (the one who fought Anti-Monitor, the true form that fell during final crisis, etc), then there”s really no telling how powerful he is now.

I”ll bite.

When did Perpetua ever directly try to kill the Quintessence? Batman specifically roasts the Quintessence because they were sitting back watching and never directly intervened. The quintessence teleported the JL away from Perpetua, but again that does not inform us on the power relationship there.

However, we DO know that Perpetua is said to be the only being in the Multiverse who could truly rival DK”s power, and their battle would have destroyed everything in reality, which would include the Quintessence/Mxy/every being in the Sphere of Gods. There”s plenty of reason to believe Perpetua >>>> Quintessence.

So no, I don”t think Darkseid”s feat puts him above Perpetua. Granted, what we saw from Darkseid seemed to be a casual exertion of his power, and I doubt DC plans on de-escalating after creating a whole new Omniverse, so it”s likely Darkseid will be said or shown to be the strongest villain ever. Just not yet.

She tried to kill them in Justice League annual 1.

Scans? As far as I know, Perpetua merely being released caused Highfather and the other New Gods to be unformed from existence, and her focus there was on destroying the Source Wall.

Again, where is that shown? All we see is Perpetua awaken, which results in the New Gods (including Highfather) being unmade instantly, then Perpetua destroys the Source Wall and shakes reality, exhausting her power in the process. Perpetua was also pretty much nothing compared to her full power in the Justice League Annual.

It also doesn”t change that the collateral damage from full power Perpetua and DK would have killed Spectre, the Quintessence, and innumerable other cosmic beings. DK was also collapsing hypertime which would kill the hypertime Gods that supposedly transcend the New Gods.

I really don't like the direction they are going with every threat being bigger than the previous one.

It’s an arms race, and it shows that they’ve lost the ability to write quality stories. It’s as if they’re out to -lease battle boards. Like everything is multiverses bullshit only to turn around and see them get handled by planetary threats. Phuckem

that’s happening with knull lol.

But amped WW wasn’t planetary. Nor was DK or SBP.

Defeating Darkseid will take more than planetary level power to defeat.

The same way she didn’t instantly kill everyone who voted for justice
Also, during that issue, she did not regain her full power just yet.

Abhi lowballing Perpetua hard here. He needs to start reading some DC comics and stop spending all his spare time analizing Thor

I naturally agree with Bentley

So true, if only the writers understood that. All this obliterating universes crap is meaningless.
