The Ghost Who Walks
What the **** happened here? It's not the first time I'm wrong, and I don't mind being wrong either. The reason I'm provocative in debates is because I like debating and it conditions people who don't like to debate to engage and stick around.
The mistake I made was that the ds² expressed both the gravitational- and electromagnetic potential, and it wasn't obvious that it only expressed the gravitational potential because the expression I used used relativistic units, c = G = K = 1. And so you're only left with the variables r, θ, ɸ, q, and m. Since I assumed that ds² also expressed the electromagnetic potential, I assumed that it also had set the particle charge = 1 (which makes sense since you can talk about free protons and electrons), and to say that particle charge doesn't matter for electromagnetic potential in an electromagnetic field is retarded. This would've been resolved a lot quicker if I looked it up on Wikipedia, or if Magnon had a proper grasp of what he was talking about. But it's not a biggie.
