I actually wish the OT was longer. There were some fine scenes which weren't included. Biggs Darklighter, Han thanking Luke for rescuing him from Jabba and so on...

But IX as a movie would have been smoother with more screen time.

Wish we could get an unaltered extended trilogy
Im guessing they would at least have explained Palpatines revival.
That in itself would have made a world of difference.
They could flesh out Kylos redemption. Give Lando more time to bring back an army with him. Show Finn actually discovering his force powers. Explain what was going on in that end fight...
So it definitely could have used more time, and could have been substantially improved as a film. But unfortunately the story, the trilogy and the character arcs would still suck.
