I'm a fan, but I wouldn't be as well-read as a lot of others.

I mean, as a kid I had Captain America toys. I had colouring books. I used to sit and watch the Captain America cartoon whenever it was on (I still remember the theme song). For years he was one of my favourite Avengers. Hell, a couple of years back when my family and I were talking about Christmas presents, the only thing I asked for from my entire family was the replica Cap shield Hasbro put out (and I did get it). I'll even say that Cap is my favourite MCU character. I've read a ****-ton of Avengers stuff.

But if you ask me how many arcs of Cap's solo books I've read? The answer is not many.

Have you read Mark Gruenwald's run?

If not... that's where you should start at.

And reading certain issues should be considered your duty as an X-Men fan, anyway, so it's not like you have a choice here:
