Metas vs Jupiter

The question is what Carver meant by "eye of the planet".

I would have understood lips of the planet, but eye?

I actually think there was some other factor going on, because Flash was running around in space and talking.

It was Aquaman 1mil anyways so it’s a pointless mention. It was also liquify Kryptonian steel not dent it.

I’d be curious to how Apokolips compares to Jupiter or how the fire pits would. Because Aquaman has a showing in relation to that in Metal.

I assumed the OP was just asking survive on Jupiter not it’s core though.

The Firepits KOed Byrne era Supermam for comparison.

I’ve yet to read Our Worlds at War but I’ve seen people use the scans to suggest he can survive in space. I’m pretty sure J’onn had a telepathic link going on originally and given the difference in speech bubbles between Aquaman and Superman I’d imagine Aquaman was using his telepathy after J’onn got knocked out the link wasn’t disconnected.

I’m pretty sure Post-Crisis there’s been instances of Flash running in space as well. SpeedForce triumphs logic. Aquaman was also shown traveling in space alongside The League in Metal but in that instance he had a mask on possibly either to talk or breathe given his TP was reduced Post-Flashpoint and J’onn wasn’t a member of the League during the time period.

Byrne’s scaling of high tiers always seemed mid tier to me personally, I’ve heard Superman also didn’t perform as impressively under that era of Byrne writing him feat wise atleast. But I could be missing something. Still a cool mention.

I wasn't arguing against him being able to survive in space, just this specific example is questionable at best. I've seen him operator on the Moon outside the Watchtower while holding his breath, so yes outside of eventually having to breathe, his durability is more than enough to be in the vacuum of space. JLA SHOWCASE 80-PAGE GIANT if you'd like the example.

Superman has tanking nukes and equivalent as at best a good example during that period, and far better than nuke level, so not too shabby for Aquaman at least canon wise(no idea what the writer intended)
