One can only speculate he keeps up a workout routine and gets even stronger. It isn't made explicit.
The question is, does Anissa outclass Nolan? Or Conquest?
Fact is, Mark didn't fight tooth and nail like he did Conquest. No biting off flesh from the neck artery, no repeated headbutts into the nose, no desperate strangulation while his bowels hang out.
He also admitted he has problems opening up on women, because of his old fashioned principles.

I don't think he was in the right mind for a fight to the death either. He was already dealing with a lot on his plate, and suddenly that.
Plus he simply isn't able to fight women the same way, as we saw against the green space princess.
