We've had rumors galore about this, but this rumor is from Hayter (info he got from an insider of his) so it seems more worth discussing. He talks about it at the 45 min mark.

And should the rumors about Microsoft acquiring Konami's IPs also be correct, everybody is gonna freak if such a remake is Xbox exclusive.

I wonder...but I don't know if MS would make a remake......

The rumours were they hired Kojima and talked with Konami in regards to some IP...but wouldn't it be better to make a new Metal Gear Solid game?
