Biden Passes Trump in Truth Social Follows
President Biden has surpassed Donald Trump in followers on Truth Social. The Biden campaign pithily announced it was joining his likely 2024 presidential race competitor on Trump's Twitter-like platform.
"The U.S. presidential campaign is playing out in real time on Truth Social," Truth Social said in an email announcing Biden's campaign had joined. "Don't miss the action!"
Biden's account, Biden-Harris HQ, had about 25,100 followers as of Wednesday afternoon. Trump's, Team Trump, had about 21,500.

Attorney and prominent conservative media figure Jenna Ellis pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a felony charge over efforts to overturn Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss in Georgia, tearfully telling the judge she looks back on that time with “deep remorse.”
Ellis, the fourth defendant in the case to enter into a plea deal with prosecutors, was a vocal part of Trump’s reelection campaign in the last presidential cycle and was charged alongside the Republican former president and 17 others with violating the state’s anti-racketeering law. -snip

Trump's very likely not beating Biden in round 2. But on the unlikely he's the only Republican running and wins and is sentenced. Then I assume his VP would assume command for the four years, as you can't govern from behind bars.
The framers of the Constitution never figured a party would be corrupt and insane enough to run someone who has been indicted over election fraud, election tampering, theft of classified documents (possibly selling?) and inciting an insurrection and failed coup and is facing prison time. So its' a brave new world.
The problem with that is: the vice would definitely pardon Trump, right? Then the obvious move is too make trump vice and resign. Of course, Trump would have to be confirmed right? That's not just an appointment? Just following the hypothetical line here.
I am not so sure trump won't win a rematch. Obviously I hope not, but I don't believe polls are useless, and they haven't been in Biden favor recently.
A sitting vice president cannot issue presidential pardons. So Trump would have to be removed from power while he's in prison or resign (I know, lol) the presidency in order for his VP to become POTUS and gain pardoning powers. Again, this is all in unknown territory.
Presidents can only pardon on the federal level, not the state level. So if he's found guilty in Georgia for election tampering, that one can't be pardoned by a President. His classified documents and inciting an insurrection cases can be. Along with his other federal-level pending criminal cases.
I think Biden can beat Trump again. *In Recent Polls* Despite Biden's low favorably rating, he beats Trump. Biden loses to people like Ron DeSantis and Nikki Hailey though.
Russians Donated to Johnson Through Texas Company
A group of Russian nationals donated to newly-elected House Speaker Mike Johnson's campaign in 2018 by funneling the money through a U.S. company.
The Texas-based American Ethane company previously donated tens of thousands of dollars to the campaigns of Louisiana Republicans including Johnson, who was voted by the House to replace Kevin McCarthy as Speaker on Wednesday following three weeks of GOP chaos in the lower chamber.
While American Ethane was run in 2018 by American John Houghtaling, 88-percent of the firm is owned by three Russian nationals: Andrey Kunatbaev, Konstantin Nikolaev, and Mikhail Yuriev.
