How goes this?

Normal Despero has matched Superman. This version kills morg.

Didn’t see it was wol morg for some reason. He’d win a purely physical battle i think.

He didn't do anything there. What single thing he did was impressive. Hell Nova flash koed him.

Was it ever explained why this Despero seemed stronger?

He beat Gabriel, that means he's Ravenous level

when he had the wol he was well above the herald combo and firmly in trans imo. he'd win this i think. not sure this version of despero was intended to be stronger than any other, just one writer's impression is all.
