Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim

After seeing Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim in Scott Pilgrim V.S. The World, and also reading the comics, I don't think Cera matches Pilgrim's energy in the books. Did he do a great job at portraying an awkward 22 year old man? Yes, but in the comics Scott just gives off a different vibe from what he was written as in the movie. I would think he'd just be naive, not awkward.

I'm not saying that I know of another actor who could've been better than Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, but you know, there COULD be.

Who do y'all think could've been Scott Pilgrim in the movie?

Michael Cera was playing who he always plays in every movie he is in: Michael Cera. In this movie he just did it while dressed as Scott Pilgrim.

Love this movie, and yeah, Cera played Cera, but Cera was pretty enjoyable so I don’t mind that at all.
