"Hornblower" is a gay surname or title regardless of how you twist it. Morningstar is a biblical reference that pertains to Lucifer's status compared to the other angels, and Demiurgos refers to Michael's ability to create. Gabriel didn't have a tangible role in the original series other than that he was supposedly given the role of maintainer of the cosmos.
In other words, Michael created the universe, Lucifer shaped it into what it is, and Gabriel makes sure it stays the way it is. Gabriel's role as the trumpeter in the end-times, isn't interesting, and calling it horn-blowing makes it seem like a euphemism for sucking dick. It devalues the character and consequently it's shit writing.
