It is canon.

He exists in the mainstream universe and was created long before the new Heroes Reborn event was even planned.

Hickman's Hyperion still lives on Marvel Earth, too, as far as I know. He just doesn't get any attention from writers and his current whereabouts are unknown, I think?

Which is weird af, because he ought to do something about his copycat representing the United States as a member of the new Supreme Squad.

Which is technically a wrong thing to do, as we've been getting force-fed with traitor Agent Coulson and his Made-In-Mephisto's-Realm Squadron Supreme of America for a while now.

Hick-Hype probably went clubbing in Ibiza and doesn't care of any of that shit.

The evil Grandmaster made version of him was best. Breaking WM's arm/ribs, smashing him through a planetoid and right into a star was badass.
