Are you kidding me, we just sat through a false russia narrative for 4 years.
Also there was no Russia narrative. Russia, as confirmed from multiple intelligence agencies, has been interfering in our elections with a focused misinformation campaign and it benefitted Trump.
Trump had enough Russian connections to warrant concern along with other members of his administration and campaign.
There needed to be an investigation. The truth is the GOP spent more time trying to derail a proper investigation that it made the whole process worse.

Leftists hate when anyone points out how the Trump/Russia "investigation" turned-out to be a joke and a huge waste of time and money. They also hate it when someone points out their hypocrisy and double standards.
As someone put it best. If the Russian investigation is a witch hunt then a lot of real witches are being found.

HYG: Intelligence Report: Russia Tried To Help Trump In 2020 Election
I think echo chambers are basically just what naturally occur in human communities, at least in the form they hold now. Yeah I like to dig on the KMC Dems for basically backslapping all the time, but it's not like they're any different to most other online communities. People segregate into minicultures, it's inevitable; and I'm starting to wonder if, for the time being, it is for the best. Often disagreements come from differences in basic outlook, much of which stem from 'innate' personality and identity.
For example, you're not going to convince Ben Shapiro to stop being a massive conservative by arguing with him. AOC isn't going to renounce her neu-linksgerichtet by debating with a Republican. So what is going on in these 'debates'? They don't change the world, or anyone's minds, really. If you want to argue with each other just have at it, or else segregate and slap your friends' backs. And I say this to 'both sides', as it were, at the risk of sounding like a ridiculous centrist (which I certainly am not, less so than ever by now). I also say it to myself, because I could learn to take my own advice once in a while.

This ass had good influences like the LGBT youth being able to reach out across natural borders to find support. Of course it also has helped drive bad ideas into echo chambers where they grow and become dangerous.
To the last part I hear that your goal shouldn't be to change someone's mind that is firm like a Ben Shapiro. You're really trying to influence the person reading or listening to the debate who hasn't.

Are you just crazy town, for four years there was an investigation and it proved nada. Seriously
Wrong again. The Mueller investigation was from 2017 to 2019, that is two years. We know Russia interfered to help Trump win. Why Trump fired Sessions and hired Barr shorty before the investigation finished.
