These guys are put on DC earth and must survive for a year

All heroes and Villians of Earth only are alerted of there presence but not their whereabouts. They must survive for one year by any means.

The Team

Tony Stark (Gets to pick a suit for this but that's it)
Doom
Reed
Thanos

They all survive. Superman goes to greet Tony and Reed, and wishes them well. Offers to show them around the DC Earth, perhaps. Then he takes Doom and Thanos to some high-security Justice League prison so that they won't cause any trouble during the coming year.

DC earth is deceived into thinking they are a threat to the whole planet and must be taken down by any means.

It has held plenty, but arguably none as brilliant as Doom, or Thanos. In character, neither of those two would cause a stir until they became comfortable with the lay of the land. They've both pretended to be the good guy in the past.

Both scenarios are different. Doom never has to be in a position that he becomes duped into consuming poison laced yum yums so to speak. DC Earth has far too many characters that are less than Doom running around creating chaos while remaining off of the radar. Neither Doom, or Thanos are the run of the mill idiots that people seem to be pretending that they are.
