Well its a part compliment in that he gets to the penalty area a lot.

I’m a bit of a strong speedy dribbler myself, but I tend to play in defense or midfield, so I play a bit like him, but from a deeper position. It’s great for me because I can get past players quickly unless they foul me. Then it’s free kick time, or in sterling’s case, penalty time.

I never made first team at Secondary and had given up by Uni, I played for a pub team a few years later as central defender sometimes but I was playing Rugby at a really good regional level from 12 to 37. Really good clubs, first team till 32.

I should be honest, I was being nostalgic and haven’t played since university myself. I must’ve hit the woodwork 12 ****ing times one game from centre back. Those bastards couldn’t get it off me. I even drew a foul and got a free kick and still hit the ****in post. We won 1-0 in the end.

I cringed so hard at that, felt so bad for the guy.
