I think Jean learns as she goes. If she can’t use t.k. at once if you will she can apply origins to it and connect 2ndly.

That’s how you keep the impossible task from failing anyway.

Here is a bloodlusted Sue vs Holding Back Jean with no PF and no TP (she stlll didn't have it yet) only TK :

Says so right on panel, Jean and crew were holding back and were at a disadvantage because Scott and Sue weren't.

Jean is written as a total Mary Sue these days, especially when it comes to telepathy.

She should win 10/10 in Rd 1.
