A. Weisselberg, keeper of Trump's dirt surrenders ahead of charges

Trump Organization: Top executive surrenders to face charges

Allen Weisselberg, 73, turned himself in to authorities in New York on Thursday morning, ahead of the expected unsealing of as-yet-unknown charges.

"Mr Weisselberg intends to plead not guilty and he will fight these charges in court," his lawyers said.

Mr Trump is not expected to be implicated personally in the case.

New York City has already cut business ties with the twice-impeached former president.

The Trump Organization is a family holding company that owns hotels, golf clubs and other properties.

Any criminal charges brought against it would mark the first in long-running investigations on alleged fraud by both the Manhattan district attorney and the state attorney general. -snip

Depending on how many charges are levied against him, he could be looking at 25+ years in prison.

He's 73 now, I don't think he's going to want to potentially spend the rest of his life in prison, even white-collar-resort-prison, for Trump and his crappy adult children. Who knows, maybe he's loyal.

...or maybe he's singing like a canary presently 🙂

Another dimension to this is that Weisselberg is being charged as the representative of the Trump organization, which employees the entire Trump family. These charges could cause lenders to demand the organization immediately repay any outstanding loans, bankrupting and folding the company.

I don't think he's there just yet, still too soon, imo.

But when Trump starts claiming that every illegal activity Weisselberg committed (which are extensive), he did so without Trump's consent or knowledge, Weisselberg will then flip on Trump and he likely has the proof proving Trump had knowledge stored away in some bank vault.
