The groundwork has already been done to cover any such scenarios and have to give Trump credit, it was laid over his four years as POTUS and then post presidency with attacking the judicial system, demonizing the FBI and law enforcement and drilling "THE.DEEP.STATE." into the psyche of every Trumper.
So if any of this turns out to be true, the answer will be some version of: "Trump was framed by the FBI and DOJ who work for the Deep Sate."
Edit; Just saw a picture of a post Trump made on Truth Social, if it is indeed a legit post and it seems so, Trump is claiming the FBI "planted" the evidence. So yes, they found something he wasn't supposed to have.
