anyway on-topic, I think I've already said this: it doesn't matter whether transhumanism is 'good' or 'bad', it's coming. History marches on, as ever. Whether we actually reach a 'post-human' stage or not (i.e. become so far removed from our biology and natural instincts that we can no longer be classified as 'human'😉 will be seen to be believed. I don't think that'll happen for a long, long time, and I think we're likely to die off before that point, anyway. A person with a robot arm is a human, transgender people are human, a cat-person a la Always Sunny is a human, a person with an AI chip in their brain is a human, etc.
